FFmpeg 2.8.2 released, Ubuntu, Linux Mint.

FFmpeg 2.8.2 “Feynman” is the leading multimedia framework, cross-platform solution that is used to decode, encode, transcode, mux, demux, stream,filter and play any audio or video files. This release includes all changes from ffmpeg-mt, libav master of 2015-08-28, libav 11 as of 2015-08-28.

To install the latest FFmpeg just run the following commands via your systems Terminal.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg-real
sudo ln -sf /opt/ffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg /usr/bin/ffmpeg
