How To Install The California Calendar 0.1.4 On Ubuntu 14.10 Ubuntu 14.04

California is a new calendar application for GNOME 3. It's currently under heavy development.

Planned Features

  • Modern, clean interface
  • Quick setup (if any is required at all)
  • Uses EDS for calendar access, potentially other specialized backends (i.e. GData)
  • Quickly add events with natural-language parser
  • Desktop notification of events 

To install California Calendar just run the following Commands via your systems Terminal.

 sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/daily-builds

 sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install california
