How To Enable "inxi" : full featured system information script On Ubuntu 14.10 14.04

Inxi is a bash script that collects, formats and provides multiple ways to output data about your system configuration.

inxi is a very small command line tool (bash script) which allows you to see all sorts of information about your Linux computer. The information inxi can give you ranges from CPU info, graphic card, sound card, ip and so on (a lot of info!)

If it were to become a default part of ubuntu installations, it would make it easier for new users to provide information about their system.

To Install and run inxi run the following commands via your systems Terminal.

sudo apt-get install inxi

then run:

inxi -Fxz
